Coaching for Parent Carers
Space to pause, reflect, and find balance while supporting children with ADHD or living with your own ADHD.
Coaching for parent carers navigating ADHD and neurodivergence, helping you reconnect with yourself while supporting those you love.
A Space That Understands the Load You Carry
Being a parent carer can be both rewarding and relentless. It often means putting your own needs last, navigating complex systems, and constantly adapting to meet the needs of your child or children.
This coaching space is designed for you: a parent carer who’s giving so much and needs time to think, breathe, and find a way forward, whether you’re supporting children with ADHD or navigating your own ADHD as a parent.
I understand the unique challenges of this role because I live it too.
The Two Types of Coaching I Offer Parent Carers
Parent carers often carry layers of responsibility — for their child’s wellbeing, and often for their own unseen challenges too. I offer two types of coaching, depending on what’s most helpful for you right now. You can focus on one, or explore both.
1. Coaching for Your Own ADHD
If you’re a parent who also has ADHD, diagnosed or self-identified, this space is for you. Together, we can make sense of what’s going on in your life, unpack patterns, and find strategies that support your family, home, wellbeing, energy, and self-esteem.
2. Coaching About Your Child’s ADHD
If you’re looking for support in understanding your child’s ADHD, we can explore their own unique profile and help you to identify what might help, as well as their strengths.

What We Might Explore Together
Each parent carer’s situation is different, so sessions adapt to your priorities, energy, and circumstances.
We might explore:
- Balancing advocacy with self-care
Finding practical ways to support your child while protecting your own wellbeing.
- Managing overwhelm and emotional fatigue
Recognising signs of burnout and learning how to rest without guilt.
- Navigating family dynamics and communication
Finding calm, clear ways to connect when emotions run high.
- Processing emotions and identity changes
Exploring the shifts that come with parenting in a neurodivergent family.
- Creating time and space for yourself
Reconnecting with your values, energy, and sense of self beyond caring roles.
How Coaching Can Help
Coaching offers a pause, a chance to slow the mental load, reflect, and rebuild.
It helps you make sense of what’s working, where you’re stretched thin, and how to find steadier ground.
Together, we’ll look at small, realistic changes that protect your well-being while supporting your family’s needs.
Parent carers often describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more able to cope after sessions, with renewed energy and perspective.
How Our Sessions Run
Sessions are usually 45 minutes, held online via Zoom.
Most people meet fortnightly, but this can be adjusted to fit around caring responsibilities and availability.
Before we begin, we’ll arrange a free 20-minute discovery call to talk through what you need and see if coaching feels right for you.
There’s no commitment, just space to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.
A Compassionate, Lived-Experience Approach
I know how demanding it can be to juggle caring, parenting, and your own needs, because it’s part of my story too.
That lived understanding means you’ll be met with empathy, not explanation, and a coaching process that recognises the realities of life as a parent carer.
This isn’t about fixing or forcing change; it’s about creating a space where you can breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
